You guys asked for this and here it is! My Pinterest Obsession posts seem to be really popular series over here and if there are any other ones you would be interested in – please let me know!
These little tattoos are really popular at the moment and I love the simplicity of them. I also think if you get a small tattoo that has a deeper meaning, maybe one only you know but nobody else does from looking at it, then it is super special. For example, I really want to get a small heart, similar to the one featured in its placement and design, for my Auntie who passed in 2004.
Flowers are totally classic tattoos but I love the different designs that incorporate flowers. Honestly, I never thought much of flower tattoos until I recently noticed my Pinterest board was covered in these designs! I have included small ones, ones with colour and bigger designs to give an idea of how you can use flowers as a brilliant tattoo piece. I particularly love the idea of having your own or someone elses favourite flowers tattooed.
Quote tattoos are another classic but I feel like I don’t see them that frequently anymore. Lyrics from songs, favourite book quotes, there are so many different types of word related tattoos that you can get. I love the simple “Oh Yes I Can” motivational pieces to quotes that totally resonate with you – there is such a great mix.
In terms of artistic and unique tattoo pieces, there are hundreds of thousands that you can pick from. I have included a few of my favourite designs and styles at the moment to give you an idea or inspire you. Dot work tattoos are, in my opinion, totally gorgeous and look amazing; as well as geometric ones.
Finally, I might as well showcase the one tattoo that I currently have (booking others at the moment though!). I got this tattoo when I was 18, on my 18th birthday in fact, and the MCMLVII is the birth year of my mum. I got it tattooed on my ribs because I quite like having tattoos to myself.
Do you have any tattoos? What designs do you love?
