I came home on the weekend before Valentine’s Day to celebrate with my boyfriend. We went to a lovely place called Brampton Mill and I thought I would share my outfit, gift and what I ate with you guys.
Honestly, this was probably one of the cheapest outfits I have ever put together! My top is a simple, white off the shoulder number that was £4 from Primark and my skirt is a grey cotton pleated piece from Primark too – and was only £8! The skirt was so light (not great for the weather) but so comfy if you plan on eating a lot. My shoes are from New Look and are a nude barely-there style. The thick heel makes them so easy to walk in too.
I had the most amazing fish & chips (which to a lot of people isn’t the most romantic of meals!) as I have a thing about testing out all the best restaurant’s takes on it. Safe to say, the meal was one of the best I have ever had. I finished off with a ‘melting golden chocolate bomb’ which is served with “caramel ice cream, chocolate popping candy and hot Devon cream toffee sauce” and oh my god it was amazing! It was definitely pretty pricey but totally worth it.
You may have seen on my February Wish List (here) that I was ogling the ‘Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a Fuck’ book. Well…. Adam bought it for me! I have already started reading it and it is honestly great. To be frank, if you aren’t keen on swearing, this book is not for you. Every sentence features the word fuck which I find hilarious and a nice alternative to serious English Literature reading.
Did you have a great Valentine’s Day?
