Christmas: Haul

DISCLAIMER: I was really spoilt this Christmas and I am honestly so so grateful for everything I received. I did not expect to get anywhere near as much as I did and I am incredibly lucky in that respect as not everybody gets to spend Christmas like this.

I really wanted to show you some of the things that I got for Christmas this year. I am blown away by the pressies my family got me and I just had to share some of my favourites!

I have to start with my painting from my boyfriend. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me post about this on Christmas Day! I was genuinely over the moon when I opened this present and I can’t believe he kept it a secret for so long! My cat, Bradley, means the absolute world to me and to receive a painting of him was the most thoughtful gift ever.

The following photos are presents that my Mum treated me to. I have to admit that generally I have taken photos of the most ‘photogenic’ of these presents! I was lucky to get a lot of literature related gifts. Mum treated me to a gorgeous copy of A Midsummers Night’s Dream which fits perfectly within my dachshund book ends that she got me too. I also got some goodies from the Alice in Wonderland bath collection that I spotted on ASOS a while back. The bottles are adorable, which makes me not want to use them! You can find them (here) in the sale too now if you’re interested. I also got a lovely pair of classic button up pjs from Next that I had picked out a while ago and are actually from the kid’s section (short people benefits!) and go perfectly with the cosy dressing gown my Nana got for me (here). I was also really shocked when I opened a Lazy Oaf top from their Disney Collaboration (here). I had suggested to her how much I liked it but because of the price I never expected to open it on Christmas Day! Well and truly spoilt.

On Boxing Day, it is tradition that I go to my Grandparents where I also see my Dad and his fiancee, Jane. I thought I had already been spoilt so to be treated again was amazing. My two main presents included a shadow experience at Colchester Zoo (here), as I have been obsessed with sloths for years, and an amazing spa day for two in York – something I am really looking forward to after exam season! My Grandparents got me some lovely kitchen pieces, including a wooden heart-shaped chopping board, which I am going to keep for when I leave university (as well as some money to get myself some sale pieces – which I will be showing you soon!)

I have been so so so lucky this Christmas and I am so grateful of everything that my family bought me. I loved spending time with them, eating lots of food and sleeping a lot. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas too!

What was your favourite Christmas present?

I must do another trip to the Next kidswear section soon, got my sunnies from there last year (small people benefits but damn hard to shop regular stores for a lot of things)! Some wonderful presents, and I love those Alice in Wonderlands bits and bobs 🙂

anything Alice in Wonderland sounds lovely 🙂 I’m glad you liked your gifts and got to spend quality time with family. My favorite present was a Bebe bag in the colour taupe. I don’t have a bag like it and it fits basically anything I need, so I’m beyond grateful 🙂

oh my goodness your boyfriend is one talented guy!!! Thats funny because my sister is in loveee with her cat too (which all cat/any pet owner should be) so i wanted to get her a huge printed photo of her cat to hang up….little did I realize how expensive it was to do all that lol. Is that batiste dry shampoo I spotted?!?! Hands down my favorite dry shampoo brand!

    xo, JJ

Batiste is honestly the best! Mum found it on offer near Christmas so I got tonnes of bottles to take to uni with me! Great for lazy student days! Haha, yeah they can get veeeery expensive – it’s such a lovely idea tho! Thanks for commenting lovely 🙂 xxx

oh I know, I typically buy mine from a TJ MAXX or Marshalls they’re usually like $5 there whereas at a Target or Walgreens $9! What University do you go to?

That’s so much!?? They’re like £1.99 must of the time in England! The Uni of York in England 🙂 xx
