University: Room Tour

I love interior design and experimenting with little money – something I explored in my Copper Crazy post and my Pinterest Office Inspiration post too.

This part of my room is one of my favourites (minus having to use red pins ugh). The fairy lights are some cheap ones from eBay – similar linked here – and the Paris poster is one I picked up last year at my university. My copper photo frame is from B&M and was only £1.99 – a steal. Diffusers are definitely a university room essential if you’re like me and can’t have candles booo! This one is Strawberries and  Cream from Next that they sadly discontinued but I would recommend their diffusers as some of the best I have tried – linked here.

Now obviously I have to move on to my bed as it’s the focal of my room. It has actually changed slightly since I took this photo but the picture is great so I couldn’t replicate it! The wall hanging I picked up in Barcelona but you can get them on Amazon etc for around £10. My fairy lights are again from eBay – linked here – and my cushions are from Primark but have since been replaced by cute af Next ones. I chose simple white bedding from TK Maxx as the wall hanging kind of speaks for itself and I didn’t want the room to get too ‘busy’ with prints and colour etc. At the end of my bed I have a light grey throw (just to break up the plain white bedding) that I bought when I was in China for 50RMB.

My desk is my final place I’ll show you in my university room. These photos do make it look very bare but I can assure you it is normally covered in university work. My radio is genuinely amazing – it was a gift from my Dad and you can find it on John Lewis here. MY notepad is one from Paperchase that was a birthday gift from one of my lovely university friends.
Also, you may be interested in the random white nose… Yep, that is a glasses holder from Tiger, which cost me £2! The copper pots were featured in my birthday haul, from Paperchase also, and I love them! I have since replaced all my pins with copper ones. The adorable Paris pot that houses all my pens is from Zara Home – which I grabbed for 1.99 Euros down Champs-Élysées.

I hope that you liked this little insight to my university room. I really love making my room special and spending time on it and maybe I will show you the rest of it again soon?

Fab, looks like a retreat among the madness of university life! The wallhanging is very eye-catching against the more subtle decor, love it <3
