My Pinterest Obsession | Office Space

After just recently moving in to my second year accommodation that definitely lacks size, having a nice, organised work space is a must for me. I was at a severe loss on how to deal with no storage  and how I would make everything look cute and cosy so… Where else is better to go than Pinterest for such inspiration?

As you can tell, I have been loving very white minimalist looks – much like my new blog design! I feel that white looks clean and fresh and the accents of green from plants (I have a little succulent called Yaxley hehe) brighten it up.

Organisation is key so I also shared two of my favourite pins for that too. Copper  and typewriters? ughhhh I die. I feel that especially being a joint honours student, organisation of work is key to succeeding and not getting confused by the many modules you may have.

If you wanted to check out my Pinterest Office Board I have linked it here for you to have a look. I also have some DIY, Organisation, Tattoos and Quotes Boards etc if you are interested in those too.

I would love to know how you guys prefer to keep  your offices/work areas? Lots of organisation or more of that elusive ‘it’s a mess but I promise I know where it all is!’

Thank you for reading!

Organised for me too. I actually spent a whole day in Ikea (in my defence, it was my first ever visit so I made the most of it!) looking at desks and ways to organise my little home office space. I love the look of some of those pins, but the problem is that it’s so hard to decide what to go for when you like a few totally different styles!

My space seems really neat and tidy, but it’s inevitable that things get put anywhere rather than where they should be so I’m always doing a mini-tidy-up every couple of days to sort the mess out again! I have a magnetic whiteboard for notes, folders and a file drawer, separate shelves for stationery, drawers for notebooks, another draw for techie bits, etc. The desk and side add on is pretty big, so I had a draw underneath the desk itself left over… It’s ended up becoming an extra jewellery drawer, a bit like an overflow carpark! 🙂

I’ve never been to an IKEA store, only ever shopped online! Apparently they’re so easy to get lost in? Haha, I know what you mean! I love the grey and pink theme at the moment but generally stick with minimalist white as it’s much more classic? I really want a magnetic white board, I just have two pin boards at the moment that are covered in Polaroids rather than any work… haha!

I love the white minimalistic look! That was my design for my room back home (when I could keep the makeup marks off) I love the organising images though, there so satisfying haha x

I was just about to say that in reply! Looks great but a nightmare to maintain well *sigh* Nice interior design comes at a price haha! Little pots of pins you never use (or know what they’re for) appeal to me hahaha x

And then you realise your student loan will never be able to recreate anything like the stuff on pinterest…. 😰 life.
