First of all, I wanted to apologise for being a little quiet in the comments of other blogs and a little slow on mine. Busy is an understatement for me at the moment! On Thursday I am going to Barcelona for 5 days so I have lined up posts and will do my best to keep engaging with you guys because I miss spending 99.9% of my free time on here!!
I haven’t done one of these posts in a while and I thought it was perfect timing to show my admiration and recognise the hard work of others when I have been slacking on that front (slap on the wrist). My last one is here if you’re interested in finding out some of my other favourites from the past.
The first post I have to mention is from blackplusblack who went to the Bahamas recently which I am very jealous about! She featured the most beautiful beach outfits in the most beautiful photos and honestly, she just looks bloody incredible and I think everyone should check her post out for that reason alone! Ashley’s post is here. Next is a post from one of my favourite blogs to read, Ainsley Louise. She did a post about one of my style inspirations, inthefrow, and how to emulate it. She always does such fantastic fashion posts and she did a great job in capturing Victoria’s style. Ainsley’s post is here.
Mollie deserves so much more attention for how talented she is when it comes to makeup looks. Whenever I want to recreate a celeb’s look or I feel a little uninspired with my makeup I always check out what she has posted. She recently did a look inspired by Taylor Hill at the Met Gala and I loved it!! Mollie is absolutely gorgeous and she is incredible when it comes to makeup. Mollie’s post is here.
Oh my god I think I just about died when Emily posted this milkshake! I literally love them so I was really excited when she posted about how to make the perfect malteaser and marshmallow milkshake! I mean what is better than that really?! I wanted to mention this post specifically because I don’t read a lot of recipes but this one looked so amazing that I couldn’t pass by. I am going to attempt this soon so I will let you know if I have great success like Emily or if I definitely do not deserve the title of milkshake master. Emily’s post is here.
As always, I love mindfulness and ‘deeper’ posts. Harriet is one of the loveliest bloggers I know and I love speaking with her now and then on Twitter. She recently posted about confidence and I thought it was great. I love how open and honest Harriet is and I totally identified with everything she said. Harriet’s post is here. Next is Chanelle’s 50 More Things That Make Me Happy. As you know, I love Chanelle’s gratitude posts and this one was no exception. What I loved was that she mentioned a lot of things we don’t always think about, such as memorising lyrics or the joy of getting a badge at work with your name on it. Chanelle’s post is here. Finally, I wanted to mention Nia. She did a really important post this week about self-esteem and I think it is something we can all relate to. I love how she writes and it really adds to the overall message of her post. We need to stop caring about what others think of us and focus on bringing each other up rather than down. Nia’s post is here.
