I saw Angela’s post a while ago titled Dream Home and I felt inspired to give you guys an idea of what my dream home would look like too.
As you most likely know by now, I am a huge lover of Pinterest! I have done a few posts before if you wanted to check those out. I posted about Flat Lays which went down amazingly well with you guys(!), Travel, and Office Space – as well as themed Valentine’s Day and Christmas ones too.
I am loving whites, greys and pinks in bedrooms at the moment which you can probably tell from these photos! Also, I have really got in to plants and succulents recently and I think they’re the perfect addition to a home – and it’s sometimes nice to break up the monochromatic colour scheme. Anything with fairy lights is a must
from me too.
Shock horror – some more white and grey! I think these slogan bath mats are just brilliant and I have seen some in both Primark and Urban Outfitters recently. I am generally more of a bath person but I can’t deny that big, waterfall showers with lots of marble tiles are just ridiculously aesthetically pleasing! Again, I really like the splash of green with the plants, I think it warms up the rather clinic looking white at times. I also think there is something about dark grey that really suits bathrooms…. I don’t know why!
Little bit more colour in this one! I have seen these hexagon tiles everywhere at the moment and I think they look so chic in bathrooms and kitchens. I also love the idea of using open cupboards or exposed shelves to store things on – I think it looks great and is also a nice way of ensuring you keep things clean and tidy and avoid clutter. I love copper too so any way that I can sneak it in to my home is right up my street!
I have always been obsessed with grey, raised sofas so of course I had to feature those! I like more patterns when it comes to living rooms – patterned, vintage rugs and cushions for example look amazing and are great at creating a homely space. I also have been loving mustard yellow as a pop of colour when using a lot of grey! Finally, I think photo or print walls look amazing in living rooms – I think it is one of the most social areas of the house and so should look one of the best too; something I think photo/print walls are great at as they totally capture someone’s personality.
Did you like anything I included? What would you pick in your dream home?
