Everyone really seems to be enjoying these posts so I thought I would do another one this week for you guys. Hopefully, you can discover some gems. I have really struggled this week to narrow it down, I must be honest!
I have two posts under the blog category this week from two of my favourite blogs. Emily Clare Beauty posted about The Best Apps for Bloggers and it is such a useful post. She briefly mentioned the app ‘Buffer’ that allows you to schedule posts on Twitter, Instagram etc. I have never heard of it and it sounds so great that I have already downloaded it. My second post is from Essential Twenty where she discusses Blog Organisation. One of the main reasons it has been my favourite blog related post this week is because she discusses tracking. I haven’t seen a blogger mention it before (spreadsheet style as opposed to calendars or weekly planners) and I thought it was really interesting. The mad organiser in me loved this post!
For lifestyle this week, I found Harriet Day’s What University Has Taught Me super fun and interesting. There were some points that I couldn’t help but laugh at because of the sheer truth of them. I totally live off a rotation of 3 different meals which is about as far as my cooking interest takes me! She also mentions things that are more serious and really important to know. For example, learning the difference between want and need when you’re renting a house and paying bills from 19 is hard. But you make it!
Lisa, from From Dream to Plan did a post on Travel Rules this week which I loved. The heading that I totally agree with is ‘How Do I Move Around?’. Some people are super adventurous on Europe city breaks, for example, and get on the trams and buses etc. It’s a lot quicker and easier to get around but for me personally… 1) I like leisurely walking around a new city 2) I can’t handle the stress of learning how to travel in a new place! Everyone is so different when it comes to travel rules which is why I loved this post so much.
Home decor is a huge love of mine. Over on Jessica Jade Beauty, she posted a Home Decor Wishlist for the office which I fell in love with! I think one of the main reasons I loved it was her whole moodboard dedicated to copper – something I am well and truly obsessed with. I have some of the Wilko copper range that she mentions and it is so gorgeous and so cheap too!
Finally, I have two posts for beauty. Helpless While Drying posted this week about the Garnier Moisture Bomb which I found great as I haven’t tried the brand out in so long. Rachel’s reviews are always brilliant and her photography makes it so look so amazing. I have already ordered one of the creams she mentioned so hopefully I have a good experience too! Secondly, Thoughtful Tash wrote a post this week about whether Morphe Palettes are Worth the Hype. Tash has the 35T palette which I haven’t actually seen before but oh my is it gorgeous! Her post is super light hearted and fun which I love in a review and I totally recommend checking her post out!
