This seemed to go down really well when I posted a few weeks ago so I thought I would include it again this week!
I still consider myself a pretty new blog and so I love checking out advice that more experienced bloggers give out on lighting, photography, blog aesthetic and productivity. I stumbled across the 3 Productivity Hacks for Online Entrepreneurs by fashionandstylepolice which was a great reminderd to keep my head down and keep focused on improving my blog!
I don’t follow many blogs that give out a lot of student advice considering that is something I am interested in and write about quite frequently. Rachel did a great post called University Tips & Tricks on her blog called Sitting in the Clouds. Her writing is so motivating and I love that she still kept her focus on self-love and keeping your sanity even in the most stressful of situations! Definitely one to bookmark. (She also used a Sirius Black quote so it was an immediate given that I would include this post)
My favourite beauty post this week was The Best Liquid Lipsticks Under £10 by the amazing Beauty Suggests. When it comes to lipsticks, I have a really strict budget as I don’t wear them nearly enough to get my money’s worth out of them. For starters, her photography is amazing – something I totally aspire to be like! Like me, she has Cannes (one of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams) which I adore so I completely trusted her choices if we agreed upon NYX’s amazing liquid lipsticks. I have never tried the Maybelline Vivid Matte Lipsticks and now they’re top of the list!
I have two posts for travel this time round as there was no way I could narrow it down. I fell in love with the New York City Getaway post on Arctic Sabrina where she shared her amazing trip to NYC and all the beautiful pictures she had taken. Like her, I am obsessed with f.r.i.e.n.d.s so I freaked out when I realised she had been outside the apartment! One of the last pictures with her on the Brooklyn Bridge with the skyline in the background really had me in awe – I need to see this city someday – pronto! I am also a sucker for Travel Wishlists, so when I saw Emily’s post I got all excited to see where she is desperate to go. I had never ever thought about the Galapagos Islands or even heard of Alberta so it was definitely refreshing to get some new travel ideas to add to my Pinterest board!
Georgia, on Midnight Madness, has been posting a great series at the moment to do with Valentine’s Day. I particularly loved her Valentine’s Day Series Outfit Ideas which I am definitely going to take inspiration from for my meal out with my boyfriend! I love that she reiterates that the most important thing is dressing how you want to and being yourself which I really loved. I love the button up suede skirts and biker jackets she featured – they are totally up my street!
I hope you liked my favourite posts of the week and maybe you found a new blog/post to check out that they hadn’t come across this time round!
