My Pinterest Obsession | Travel

I am always on Pinterest looking for inspiration – whether that be for Valentines Day, Homeware or Holidays. I thought I would compile some of my favourite photographs of places I have found on Pinterest to give you some holiday inspiration. I have featured more tropical destinations, beach holidays, cities and traditional and historical areas to get you thinking about your travel bucket list!

I also featured some great quotes from the Lonely Planet website which is one of the best for researching holiday destinations.

Algarve & Lisbon, Portugal

“The alluring coast of the Algarve receives much exposure for its breathtaking cliffs, golden beaches, scalloped bays and sandy islands”

“Seven cinematic hillsides overlooking the Rio Tejo cradle Lisbon’s postcard-perfect panorama of cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals – a captivating recipe crafted over centuries.”

Santorini, Greece

“Santorini may well have conquered a corner of your imagination before you’ve even set eyes on it. With multicoloured cliffs soaring over 300m from a sea-drowned caldera, it rests in the middle of the indigo Aegean, looking like a giant slab of layered cake.”

Bali, Indonesia

“The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It’s more than a place; it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind.”

“Effortlessly chic cities meet remote forests, drawing style gurus and wilderness hikers alike. Endless day, perpetual night. Rocking festivals, majestic aurora borealis. Scandinavia’s menu is anything but bland.”

If none of these got you itching to book a city getaway or a trip to paradise then a don’t know what will!

What country you mean when you say Scandinavia? Or it isn’t important on this point? 🙂

These pictures (to the best of my knowledge) are a mixture of Norway, Finland and Sweden. They’re all such beautiful places! xx

They are pretty amazing 😊 I’ve been in Finland and Sweden. Even the cities are beautiful. If you get around in this area, come visit Estonia too. We have the Old Town that is under a protection of Unesco. It’s a beautiful place. Tallinn is only 2.5 hours away from Helsinki with a ship.

It looks beautiful! I was in Australia for 2 years then travelled around SE Asia for 5 months… It’s easier to get to Bali from the Northern Terrority than it is to get down to Adelaide, it’s crazy that I didn’t ever consider going there! Have a great day, I’ll look forward to seeing more of your inspiring posts! X
