I recently did one of these in December but I wanted to share a few more of my favourite questions that I have answered in this diary.
For my birthday, my mum bought me a 5 Year Diary that I am totally obsessed with (my birthday haul is here) where you fill in a question everyday. Some of the questions are deep, some creative and some funny which makes it so enjoyable to complete.
“Why are you impressive?”
I hope this isn’t arrogant of me! I said that I am strong in terms of perseverance through hard times. I really struggled to come up with anything at first and I originally asked my boyfriend for some advice. He always tells me that I am a strong person and I thought I would embrace that claim in this question.
“What are your top three wishes?”
Number 1: Happiness – a generic wish, for sure, but who doesn’t need more happiness in their lives!
Number 2: My mum to have the courage to succeed in what she sets her mind to. This is a very personal wish that I can’t make too explicit on this blog but something I am very passionate about my mum doing.
Number 3: To be successful. I deliberately left this vague so it could be academically, employment wise, in friendships, my blog, in general goals, anything really. I just want to wish and welcome any successes in my life.
“Can people change?”
I personally believe in some ways, yes this is possible. There are some attributes and habits I believe you can change or develop. You could go from the laziest person to a huge gym freak, the most unorganised to the biggest lover of diaries and daily journals. I do believe you can alter parts of yourself to think more before you speak, be more confident or outgoing. I do however think that some parts of yourself make you, you. These parts can’t really be changed. I feel like I can’t come up with an example but if you think of the people closest to you, I’m sure you’re likely able to attribute some qualities to them that are so integral to who they are that it would never change. I dunno – what’s your thoughts? My friend did a really cool post on this actually – here
