Top 3: People Who Inspire Me

I think that learning who inspires people shows you a lot about their personality, how they want to grow and what they want to achieve in life.
I love posts like this as a consequence so I thought I would write about the top 3 people who inspire me.

Emma Watson

I think a lot of people, women especially, would add Emma Watson to their list. Although I think many of the reasons may be to do with her dedication to feminism, for example. This is undoubtedly one of the reasons I admire her so much but it isn’t what inspires me. I already consider myself a feminist and I constantly engage in debates about equality. What inspires me is mainly what she did when she was younger. While acting as Hermione, her academic success still remained impeccable. She achieved 8 A*s and 2 As at GCSE and then 3 As at A level which is amazing (before moving on to Oxford University). Although it is highly unlikely I will become an infamous actor with millions of pounds to my name, it is a friendly reminder that you can always achieve if you are willing to work hard enough and dedicate time to your studies.

J K Rowling

Sticking to the Harry Potter theme, J K Rowling is another person who completely and utterly inspires me. She is totally selfless, determined and compassionate. Her twitter alone gives you a great insight in to how she is willing to defend what she believes – something I admire as too many celebrities stay out of controversial topics (like the election in the US or feminist debates etc) for fear of being targeted. Rowling also gave up her billionaire status in aid of charities which is so selfless and a constant reminder that there are other people in the world that need help. It doesn’t matter if you give 10p or £10, it all matters. She inspired a whole generation to read and never gave up on getting her book published.

The SacconeJolys

You most likely read the previous two people and my reasons why and were acutely aware of who they were. You may or may not know the SacconeJolys.
To explain, they are an Irish family of 4 who live in London and vlog their lives everyday (check it out here) to an audience of 1.7 million people.
The reason they inspire me is very personal and one day I hope to say this to their face…
This year in particular has been very hard for me, I have suffered with a lot and have learnt to work and overcome many problems. The SacconeJolys have similarly had a tough year, for wildly different reasons. For example, Anna unfortunately suffered a miscarriage earlier this year. Most women would like want to grieve in the solitude of their home, not to over a million people. Granted, she took the time off she needed to recuperate but a video, every day, at 6pm still landed in my subscription box. They have taught me to be positive, no matter what happens; Jonathan’s infectious happiness is key to this!
I have to admit that I am incredibly grateful to them, and what is kind of nice is they have no idea the impact they have on people like me which is why I agree with them being deemed “every day heros”. You go, glen coco.

I hoped you like hearing about what people have inspired me the most in my life so far!
