Top 3: Favourite Subscription Boxes

I love subscription boxes. Although the surprises aren’t always 100% what you want, it’s fun to get a box of goodies every month or so to try out.

I thought I would do a mini review of my faovurite stationery, beauty and miscellaneous box (including a small guest post by one of my amazing friends!)

Papergang is so underrated in comparison to a lot of subscription boxes. I feel like beauty and makeup often dominates in this market so it is nice to see a stationery box here and there. Papergang is ran by Oh Deer, something you may have seen in Urban Outfitters or on ASOS at some point.
It costs £9.95 per month, plus £1.95 shipping. You can do a one off box which is great or you can do a rolling contract until you decide to unsubscribe from the service.
My favourite thing is that in comparison to Oh Deer stationery prices, you get a lot for your money. I loved the May box where you got a notepad, scissors, a birthday card, a shopping lists, some pencils and an origami rabbit to make – all in a gorgeous dark floral/cacti pattern! You can view previous boxes on their website to get an idea of what is in store for you and their Instagram is also greet for sneak peeks!

Glossybox is probably one of the most infamous subscription boxes in the beauty sphere. I have to admit, it is the only beauty box I have tried but I am impressed every time I get one and literally never disappointed (whereas I have often felt underwhelmed when checking out reviews of other boxes).
You pay £10 per month, including shipping, and like many subscription services – it is cheaper if you buy a 3/6/12 month subscription.
I love that the boxes often have different themes and you are guaranteed to get value for money. The only bummer is when you fall in love with an extortionately priced face cream! sigh
They have recently introduced limited edition boxes too which is so cool! I think they make a great gift for a beauty lover when you’re not 100% sure what to pick up!

The Buddy Box is a monthly subscription box which provides a small injection of self-care into an otherwise hectic life.
For £21 a month it is more expensive but with high quality items, the Buddy Box is well worth the money.
Themes, such as this month’s being ‘Woodland Walks’, bring the comfort of nature to people within their own homes and offer a little surprise every  month!
True to their slogan, each month you receive a ‘Hug in a Box’ with each box containing a range of items meant to comfort and soothe.
They’re generally targeted for people who suffer with depression, encouraging self-love and care, but that being said, this box is perfect for anyone who needs a little extra pick-me up!
The profits from the Buddy Box the foundation help run the service provide a ‘Peer Support Network’ for over 2,300 people which allows them to help support even more people with depression – which is fantastic really!
